They offer a variety of tour options and they were really helpful in helping us decide what we wanted to experience. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the area in all ways - history, geography, current events & community issues, etc. They easily & gracefully accommodated our group’s varied enthusiasm for rock scrambles, and we all had the best time. Beth and Jayden are passionate about the area & the environment & both have hearts of gold, which shines through in everything they do. We also loved being in gorgeous areas off the beaten path. With Pronghorn guides, I was able to access remote canyon country with otherworldly vistas, geologic exploration, and complete solitude. Guides Beth and Jaden were entertaining and engaging, knowledgeable about the region, and   adept in backcountry travel.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rad adventures where we got to explore two canyons over two days. The views were excellent and the company was fun and engaging. Got educational without oversaturated information (not boring) was able to hike down to the Colorado River. Beth and Jaden were so pleasant and accommodating and I could see their experience really come out the longer we were together. The vehicle we took was super comfortable and clean on inside and out. The adventures made me feel small while allowing me to realize how vast and immersive this landscape actually is. I would recommend Pronghorn Adventures to anyone. They know about the history, the geology, the plants & animals, the current events surrounding this area... there wasn't a single question I had they couldn't answer. Yes! That means it will be just your group, family, or friends on tour.

Yes! We love planning trips that meet all the needs in your group. Call us to discuss what the perfect day in the desert looks like for you.

What season is best for hiking?

We LOVE winter (Dec-Mar) hiking due to the mild temperature, all day sunshine, and fewer crowds. Winter daytime temperatures rarely go below freezing. We often start hiking in a puffy jacket and end in a t-shirt.

Spring (Mar-April) and fall (Sept-Nov) are also wonderful times to hike with cooler evenings and warm days.

Do I need to book a tour with you in order to have my trip itinerary developed?

Nope! Tours and itinerary development are separate services. We’re excited to facilitate your access to Glen Canyon in whatever way works best for you.

How do I book a tour?

Book here by contacting us to set up a tour. We value getting to know our guests before booking so that we can plan the best trip that suits all needs.

Where do tours meet?

Tours include pick up and drop off at either your hotel, Airbnb, campsite or home.

Are tours kid-friendly?

Yes! Both Beth and Jaden have worked with youth in the outdoors for over ten years at various summer camps, schools, and outdoor education programs.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your tour, we understand and can refund you as long as you cancel 48 hours ahead of time. If we need to cancel due to weather- expect a full refund.

How hot does it get in the summer?

(June-August) Summer temperatures can reach 105F/40C. For your safety, to avoid any heat related injuries, we only run sunrise and sunset tours during the summer.
